Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler just had the worst playoff series of his career, totaling only 58 points while shooting under 30% from the field against Giannis Antetokounmpo and a ferocious Milwaukee Bucks defense in a four-game sweep. In fact, things were so bad for Butler that he was outscored by Bucks reserve Bryn Forbes, who scored 60 points in the series.

After a quiet Game 1 in which he scored just five points, Forbes caught fire in Game 2, going for 22 points while hitting six 3-pointers. The guard then notched 11 points in Game 3 and another 22 points in the closeout Game 4, hitting seven triples in Saturday's series-ending win. The 27-year-old hit 16 3-pointers in the series, accounting for 80.0% of his points.

While some context should be taken into account given the players' different roles, this didn't stop Butler from getting roasted for his awful series against the Bucks

Butler certainly brought some of this on himself with the “stupidly locked in” comment before the series, as well as how he talked a big game throughout the season after the miraculous NBA Finals run in the bubble. Butler and the Heat still deserve a ton of credit for their bubble run, but they're going to have to wear this Bucks domination and get used to being called “bubble frauds” by critics.

Meanwhile, Forbes and the Bucks will now get some time off before getting ready for their second-round series. The assumption is the Brooklyn Nets will take care of the Boston Celtics, even after Jayson Tatum's monster Game 3 gave the Celtics a surprising win to make it a 2-1 series.

The Nets are still the favorite to get out of the Eastern Conference, but Milwaukee is looking dangerous after exorcising some demons and sweeping away Miami. Forbes will continue to play a key role off the bench thanks to his shooting.
