In light of a scintillating start to the 2017-18 season, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has some simple advice for his talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo — “don't get bored.”

The fifth-year player has taken the NBA by storm and started the season ferociously, leading the league in points with a 34.7 points per game clip along with 10.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.4 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game.

“Don't get bored,” emphasized Kidd when asked about his best piece of advice for the 22-year-old star, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. “When you become the best, it's very few people who've been at the top of the mountain who haven't gotten bored, and [Michael Jordan] is one of them. The great ones don't get bored. The good ones do. So hopefully at the end of my coaching career, if there's anything that I can leave with him, it's when he's at the top of the mountain, he doesn't get bored.”

The Greek Freak has been undoubtedly on the radar for future stars of the game, but he's approaching his fate as the next icon of the league at a meteoric pace, establishing an uncanny ability to take on a leadership role and do so by example.

The 6-foot-11, 222-pound arachnid-like small forward has plenty of tools in his bag, as he previously warned he's yet to unleash the best of his capabilities — promise which should prove as a terror for all teams around the league.
