Selected with the second pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Bucks chose Jabari Parker to be one of their franchise stars. These expectations haven't been easy for Parker, who tore his ACL twice in his three seasons in the NBA.

Parker has returned this year and has played on a minutes restriction since his return. It appears now that Parker will continue to be on a minutes restriction for the best future, per Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Joe Prunty says John Henson and Tyler Zeller, who were both listed as probable, should be good to go for tonight’s game in Toronto. Plan is to keep Jabari Parker around 20 minutes.

ACL injuries are dreadful for players, notably Derrick Rose who suffered multiple ACL injuries in his past which derailed his career. There were initial concerns that Parker wouldn't recover enough to have a decent NBA career.

Healthy ACLs or not, the Bucks are currently on the verge of making the postseason. It makes sense that the Bucks will keep Parker on a minutes restriction until at least the playoffs. The Greek Freak has steadily been the Bucks' best player at this point.

The Bucks will need Parker's services moving forward. Even with the amazing season that Giannis Antetokounmpo has had this year, it is unlikely that he can lead the Bucks past a top-tier team in the Eastern Conference. He's going to need help this year and Parker should be a reliable partner. Hopefully, Parker can return to full strength and get back to producing as a starter for the Bucks somewhere down the road.
