Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday has missed two weeks after entering the league's health and safety protocols. According to head coach Mike Budenholzer, the guard's impending return is just around the corner.

Holiday has missed a total of eight games over the last two weeks. Khris Middleton hinted that the guard might have tested positive for COVID-19, but the team itself hasn't disclosed such information. Per The Athletic's Eric Nehm on Sunday night, Budenholzer gave a four-word update on Holiday's status:

Holiday last played in the Bucks' 124-99 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bucks seemed to be okay without him as they picked up a 125-112 victory over the Denver Nuggets in the next game.

However, the Budenholzer-coached squad suddenly lost five games in a row — their longest losing streak so far and something uncharacteristic from a perennial playoff team like Milwaukee.

The team has since managed to pick up two straight wins, bringing their record to 18-13, which is good enough for third in the East. But based on the Bucks' standards over the past two seasons, this is not their ideal place to be in.

Milwaukee has certainly missed the services of the veteran guard. The Bucks gave up a ton to acquire this past season, so it's no surprise they're missing him, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton still leading the way.

Given Budenholzer's fresh update, Bucks fans should expect Holiday to suit up soon enough. Hopefully, his return will immediately get Milwaukee back to dominance.
