Former NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett is full of hopes for a young Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has help lead the Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in the NBA through the first two-thirds of the regular season. Asked if there is anything to add to his already formidable skill set, the rangy All-NBA legend gave his take.

“The one-dribble and two-dribble pull up. That’s what made Kobe [Bryant] and Michael [Jordan] so tough,” said Garnett, according to Alex Wong of Yahoo Canada Sports. “They would low dribble, jab step and shoot. That was such a hard move to defend. The one-dribble pull up? You don’t even understand how technical of a move that is.”

Garnett has worked with The Greek Freak in the past and has seen the strides he's made since the two worked on his game, as a special consultant to the Bucks.

“He’s already perfected the Euro step. If he added a little hook shot, that would never hurt,” said Garnett. “Work on his post game, being able to fade both ways, to the middle and to the baseline. But man, he’s making the game look so simple. A lot of the stuff I’m talking about is just adding parts. He doesn’t even necessarily need those things. There’s a couple of things though. The three ball will help his game, and if he ever gets that one-dribble, two-dribble pull up, that would be unbelievable.”

Antetokounmpo has regressed when it comes to his 3-point shooting, making only 22.3 percent of his long-range attempts after making a career-high 30.7 percent last season — yet a few other moves could take his game to the next level.

Garnett had a notably flat jumper when he first burst into the league, but worked at his craft over the years, developing a mastery at the high post and an arsenal of moves on the block to make him an unstoppable force and later a 2004 league MVP.

Giannis is approaching those same waters, but has the likes of Garnett to now help him reach that level of greatness.
