The Chicago Bulls may not have held onto the Eastern Conference's top seed but they are still bound for the NBA playoffs. The injuries they faced over the year will make life harder for them as they take on the Milwaukee Bucks. Although the Bulls injury report says that Lonzo Ball will be out, Alex Caruso, who spent plenty of time on the injured list this season, will be ready for the defending champions.

With the playoffs coming up soon, Caruso is tapping into his inner Wolverine and regenerating his health in time to face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. According to NBC Sports Chicago's Rob Schaefer, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said that Caruso is feeling better than he ever was.

“He was cleared for everything today. I think the rest did give him a significant amount of health,” the Bulls' coach said of Caruso after Tuesday's practice. “This is the best he's felt, according to him, and the time off really helped him.”

Caruso has been dealing with back soreness and missed half of the regular season due to other injuries, the most damaging one being to his wrist, which he suffered at the hands of the Bucks' Grayson Allen. Having Caruso's shooting, defense and playmaking will be huge as Zach LaVine gets his first taste of postseason basketball while DeMar DeRozan looks to continue his amazing season.

The Bulls clinching a playoff berth is a huge step forward for them as they look to stake their claim as one of the league's best teams. Although they may be bounced quickly, they now have a direction to follow.
