Chicago Bulls forward Bobby Portis is ready to move on from the whole saga involving him and Nikola Mirotic. Portis believes that it has finally ended and they are now concentrating on getting their team wins.

Per ESPN’s Nick Friedell:

Portis on situation w/Mirotic: “That situation's over, man. We're just trying to play basketball for our team and win basketball games. Everybody keeps talking about that, but that doesn't matter anymore. We're just trying to win, go out there and compete and do what we do best.”

Nikola Mirotic has just returned to the Bulls lineup following facial injuries which he suffered when he was punched by Portis in practice prior to the start of the season. Mirotic has said previously that he was putting the fight between him and Portis behind.

The Bulls, who have won just three of their first 23 games without Mirotic, have surprisingly gone 3-0 since his return. Mirotic and Portis were instrumental in their most recent 108-85 win over the East-leading Boston Celtics. Nikola Mirotic had 24 points and eight rebounds as he got the start in place of rookie Lauri Markkanen. Meanwhile, Bobby Portis added a season-high 23 points off the bench.

It won't be easy for people to completely forget someone punching his own teammate in the face, but as long as the Bulls keep winning, it will at least give everyone something positive to talk about.
