Bulls rookie Ayo Dosunmu is having his Illinois Fighting Illini jersey retired on Thursday. Dosunmu had a standout career for the Fighting Illini and was being honored in a special way, with star and teammate DeMar DeRozan in attendance at the ceremony.
DeRozan didn't have to be present at a ceremony for a rookie playing just over 18 minutes per game for the Bulls. The fact that DeRozan took the time to be at Dosunmu's ceremony shows that the Chicago star is all about team chemistry and being there for his guys.
Not only that, but as this wise Twitter user points out, it shows the kind of impact that Dosunmu is having on the veteran Bulls players, such as DeRozan, this season.
