DeMar DeRozan has insisted that despite their evident success this season, the Chicago Bulls are not slowing down even just one bit.

The Bulls have been remarkable this season, having extended their winning streak to three consecutive games with a 111-107 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

However, according to the team's All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, the Bulls will continue to surge and prove that they are “best” team in the league right now.

“Says a lot about our team. How resilient. How we approach challenges. We don’t shy away from them. We accept them,” DeRozan said of the Bulls' impressive run via NBC Sports. “You want to be the best, you gotta beat the best.”

“We’re just going to keep coming,” he continued. “We’ve learning not to get down on ourselves. We’re learning a very critical part of the game of understanding to stay level-headed and balanced. There’s a lot of time in the game for things to turn over. Stay the course. Do what we work on. Trust our offense. Trust our defense. Trust each other. That’s what we do.”

Unsurprisingly, the same mentality is what Bulls head coach Billy Donovan has in mind at the moment.

“I’m not going to sit there and take one game in the middle of December and act like this is unbelievable. It’s one game,” Donovan said after win over the Nets. “We’ve got to be better than we were tonight. And we’re capable of being better.”

Chicago will try to maintain its hot streak when the team takes on the Denver Nuggets at home on Sunday.
