Zach LaVine and Coby White have been absolutely on fire for the Chicago Bulls. On Wednesday night against the two once again led the Bulls' hot shooting against the New Orleans Pelicans to pull off an incredible feat no other backcourt tandem has ever accomplished. And yes, that includes the Splash Brothers.

The red-hot pair each nailed in eight threes each to put themselves in history as the first pair of teammates to ever hit eight or more triples each in one single game (via NBA Stats).

The two combined for a total of 17 triples and outshot the entire Pelicans squad who only made 13 of their three-point attempts. The duo's hot shooting evening helped the Bulls win just their fourth home game this season with a 129-116 W.

LaVine led the way and was a man possessed against New Orleans. He nailed five triples in the opening quarter and never really slowed down. The Bulls star finished the game shooting 9-14 from long-range and ended with 46 points – his second 40+ scoring night this season.

White, on the hand, was also huge for Chicago. In just his second season in the league, White is quickly becoming one of the best-scoring youngsters in the league. He finished Wednesday's game with 30 while shooting 8-17 from deep. Earlier this season, White erupted for a career-high of 36 points against the Sacramento Kings.

The Bulls' struggles have been overshadowed by promising play from their starting backcourt. Though the franchise is skimming the bottom of the Eastern Conference once again early into the 2020-21 season, LaVine and White have given Bulls fans something to be excited about.
