Chicago Bulls high-flyer Zach LaVine might join the Slam Dunk contest once again in the 2020 All-Star Weekend to be held in Chicago.

During the Bulls' media day, the two-time dunk champion admitted he's thinking of joining the contest. However, it still depends how his body is feeling heading to the competition.

LaVine, back when he was still a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, won the Slam Dunk contest in 2015 and 2016. His dunks rank among the best finishes in contest history. The 2016 Slam Dunk contest, in particular, was a memorable one as it involved a tight duel between LaVine and Orlando Magic high-flyer Aaron Gordon.

Since winning two dunk contests, LaVine has seemingly focused on the game itself and not just the highlights. Right now, he's the Bulls' best player and is hellbent on maintaining his health.

The dunk contest has always been one of the highly anticipated events of the All-Star break. There are times, however, that it fails to live up to the expectations. With that said, it's a good sign that LaVine is entertaining the mere thought of joining it once again.

Maybe he's doing it for the home fans. Or maybe he just wants to revive the contest to its glory days.
