Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine flew to Chicago two weeks ago for his first in-person visit with new team execs Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley, according to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago.

LaVine wasn't able to meet Karnisovas and Eversley after the Bulls initially hired them due to COVID-19.

So, to add some context: Zach LaVine flew to Chicago two weeks ago for a positive first in-person visit with Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley. Known for his strong offseason work ethic typically based outside his Seattle hometown, LaVine also participated in voluntary workouts at the Advocate Center in Chicago.

Karnisovas and Eversley have both praised LaVine in their public remarks since landing their jobs. Both executives also have talked positively about the roster’s potential and pointed to discovering why, beyond injuries, the team underachieved last season.

LaVine is the best player on the Bulls, so it's important for Karnisovas and Eversley to develop a positive rapport with the two-time Slam Dunk champion.

The Bulls weren't invited to Orlando for the season's restart, so LaVine will finish the 2019-20 campaign with stellar averages of 25.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists. He would have likely made the 2020 All-Star team had Chicago not been so putrid.

With reports coming out of New York that the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks are among the teams who have been monitoring LaVine's situation in Chicago, it's imperative that Karnisovas and Eversley do everything they can to get on the same page with the 25-year-old scoring guard.
