The Chicago Bulls could be one of the most active teams in free agency. After being heavily linked with Lonzo Ball, there are now talks that the Windy City team would also make a run for DeMar DeRozan.

According to Brian Winhorst of ESPN, the Bulls are looking to pull off a double sign-and-trade with the San Antonio Spurs where they would be sending Lauri Markkanen in exchange.

“From what I am told, [the Bulls] are also interested in DeMar DeRrozan, and are interested in pulling off a possible double sign-and-trade where they would send Lauri Markkanen to San Antonio,” Windhorst explained, per NBA on ESPN.

It remains to be seen how the trade will work and if the New Orleans Pelicans will be directly involved should the Bulls push through with the said move.

Earlier on Monday, it has been rumored that Chicago, New Orleans and the Charlotte Hornets are discussing a three-team trade that would send Lonzo Ball to the Bulls, Devonte Graham to the Pels, and Markkanen to Charlotte.

For what it's worth, the Bulls seem to be keeping their options open in any possible three-team deal. On Sunday, it was also reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder are in their radar in a sign-and-trade involving Markkanen.

As for DeMar DeRozan, he is expected to get plenty of suitors in free agency. Aside from the Bulls, the Miami Heat are also said to be keen in pursuing him to reunite the explosive scorer with his former Toronto Raptors teammate Kyle Lowry.
