The Chicago Bulls are expected to make moves to strengthen their roster ahead of the 2022-2023 season. And, with everything going on from injuries to ending contracts, they better get started soon.

Lonzo Ball missed the second half of the season and the playoffs because of a torn meniscus in his left knee. Fortunately, it sounds like he'll be back and healthy for the start of the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Zach LaVine's contract is ending, and the guard is more than likely taking his talents elsewhere.

How will the Bulls replenish their roster this offseason? Well, they have the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. And, heavy.com reports that according to league sources, Marc Eversley is interested in pursuing Matisse Thybulle.

According to the article, the Bulls general manager has been a fan of the Philadelphia 76ers small forward since he played in college. He was a huge reason why the Sixers drafted Thybulle in 2019. At the time, Eversley was the Vice President of Sixers Player Staff.

The small forward could be a valuable contributor to Chicago's defense. However, as recognized during his time in Philadelphia, Thybulle is not an offensive threat. Throughout the 2021-2022 season, he averaged only 5.7 points, 1.1 assists, and 2.3 rebounds each game. His defense throughout the regular season kept Thybulle in the starting lineup. He averaged 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks in 66 games.
