The last decade of Bundesliga football was completely dominated by Bayern Munich. The Bavarians won every league title comfortably and had no issues even when it seemed like someone will break their domination. However, as the players who carry the team grow older, hope grows in other fanbases. Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are right there and they will do their best to catch up. All of these teams have some young studs on their rosters.

Here is the best of the best, three young stars to watch in Bundesliga.

Bundesliga Stars To Watch Right Now

Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich

The Bavarians promoted young midfielder Jamal Musiala to their first team in June of 2020. Before that, he made his professional debut for Bayern's second team, which plays in the third tier of German football. The Chelsea youth product has been absolutely mesmerizing for the Bayern faithful, who have put all their trust in the youngster to carry them in the future.

Jamal Musiala is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker. His favorite position is the position that Thomas Muller now plays for the Bavarians. However, Bayern mostly utilizes him in the no. 9 role right now, which does not mean that he will not revert back to the midfield at a certain point. His ability to go past opponents with a burst of pace and his tiny frame is great for a youngster. Also, he has a very powerful shot with his preferred right foot.

It is clear that the trust from Julian Nagelsmann and his staff is there. It is up to Musiala to use it this season and utilize his skills to the best of his ability. He is probably going to be molded in the Muller position, as mentioned above, so he can take over when Muller, who is 32, falls off or retires. He is not the only promising youngster in Bayern, but Jamal Musiala shows immense potential and just needs playing time and experience. Nonetheless, a promising Bundesliga star.

Jude Bellingham, Borussia Dortmund

When Birmingham sold Bellingham to Borussia in 2020, they decided to retire his jersey. That is the impact this young man had on the storied English club and it is becoming clear why. Jude Bellingham is an amazing prospect, who debuted in professional football when he was 16. Two years after his debut, he is scoring goals and providing assists in a Champions League match. His talent came with a hefty price tag of $34.5 million, but Borussia got one of the best young players in the world.

The English midfielder is constantly looking to have the ball at his feet. He wants full control of what is going on in the midfield and he constantly makes short passes with his teammates. That is an excellent tactic to tire the opposition out and to keep the ball if the result is positive for his team. His best skill, probably, is the ability to act under pressure and make the right pass.

Obviously, all of this is made better by the fact that Jude Bellingham is in Dortmund. This team has been amazing in creating and grooming talent, as shown by Erling Haaland, who is now the talk of the whole footballing world. Additionally, Bellingham is only 18 and he has his whole career in front of him. Early signs point to a great one and this season might be his true breakthrough.

Josko Gvardiol, RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig has not had a great summer. They lost Dayot Upamecano, Marcel Sabitzer, and coach Naglesmann, all to Bayern. However, the signing of Josko Gvardiol from Dinamo Zagreb, announced on the 28th of September last year but going through this summer, returned some faith to the Leipzig supporters.

Josko Gvardiol is a Croatian defender who has been truly great for the best club in Croatia. He was a key part of the team that eliminated Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League. Unfortunately for Gvardiol and Dinamo, their European story ended versus eventual winners Villareal in the quarter-finals, but it was still an amazing season.

Gvardiol, personally, had a breakthrough year and he is already a starter for the Leipzig squad, both in Europe and domestically. In terms of his position and style of play, he is a left-back that loves to attack, but can also be a no-nonsense defender when the match requires that. He can also play in the center of the defense, but then his attacking tendencies are not fully utilized. While it will hurt that Upamecano and Ibrahima Konate left, Josko Gvardiol will help the RB Leipzig defense in a great way.

Anyway, how do you feel about our thoughts of Josko Gvardiol, Jude Bellingham, and Jamal Musiala being the Bundesliga young stars to watch right now?
