The Arizona Cardinals once hoped running back Chris Johnson would help solve a lot of team issues. Since the veteran back lost his job to Adrian Peterson back in October, he's instead helped to flame the fire.

Taking to the mean streets of Twitter this week, Chris Johnson has posted the following messages (H/T Pro Football Talk):

“There is no blocking up front in the running game. There is no way u call that play when the game is on the line. Go to what’s working throw It to #FITZ11” as well as “AZ looking for new receivers I hope they are looking for lineman as well something that will actually help the team this time.”

The Cardinals, who currently ranked 31st in the league in rushing, do have some serious issues. Chris Johnson apparently likes to point him out.

He hasn't just bashed the play calling and offensive line play, though. When engaging with random people on Twitter, he calls them clueless whenever they attempt to say something negative about him.

This seems like a weird fall from grace for Johnson. He was once considered the fasted player in the entire National Football League. He was also once the fasted player in the Madden video game series. Unfortunately, as it seems far too often for running backs in the league, he aged out pretty quickly.

Nevertheless, this story is weird and will probably remain strange until Johnson decides to stop going after the Cardinals. That is, you know, if he ever decides to stop.
