Caris LeVert had 29 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, and the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied from 20 points down in the first half to beat the Dallas Mavericks 113-110 on Wednesday night. Darius Garland, joining Donovan Mitchell on the bench in street clothes due to injury, was fired up after the Cavs came back to win:

The Mavericks went five minutes without scoring in the fourth quarter as their nine point lead over the Cavs turned into a 111-105 deficit late in the game.

Jarrett Allen had 24 points and a whopping 23 rebounds, one off his career high. Isaac Okoro scored 22 points.

The Cavs improved to 3-1 in the four consecutive games Donovan Mitchell has missed due to illness. Mitchell has been sidelined with a non-COVID-related illness after chipping in 37 points, six assists, and two blocks in Cleveland's 135-130 overtime win over the Houston Rockets. Though some fans believe the illness reasoning is a cover for a shoulder injury.

Garland is expected to miss several more weeks after suffering a broken jaw. Garland suffered this injury during a Cavs loss to the Boston Celtics earlier this month after colliding with Celtics big man Kristaps Porzingis. While attempting to score on Porzingis, Garland took a shot to the face and was down on the court in a lot of pain holding the side of his face. Garland did remain in the game and did not leave the contest.

Garland also missed time due to hamstring and neck injuries earlier this season.

Up next for the Cavs: They'll host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
