The most iconic representation of the Cleveland Cavaliers, was the massive 10-story tall billboard hung outside Sherwin-Williams' building for the world to see. This billboard depicted the then-heart and soul of the Cavs franchise, LeBron James, performing his customary pregame chalk toss.

Now that James is officially a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cavs could no longer have an image of their opponent plastered on their turf. So the billboard was torn down, leaving a blank brick wall for now.

This will not be the only change made to a part of the Cavs culture. Currently, their home court, Quicken Loans Arena, is undergoing a $140 million restoration during the offseason. The arena is expanding itself, allowing for more seats and concession stands.

It will also allow the Cavs management to rebrand the team, putting likenesses of Larry Nance Jr. and new rookie point guard Colin Sexton throughout the arena, and removing ex-players.

However, one of these ex-players will not be scrubbed from the Quicken Loans Arena walls.

Per Dave McMenamin and Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, LeBron James will continue to have a presence in the arena that he once dominated and brought a championship to. James is easily the best player to ever don a Cavs jersey, and it would be disrespectful and foolish to not at least leave some form of tribute to him in the refurbished arena.

While it remains to be seen if the King will ever represent Cleveland on an NBA court again, his past accomplishments will never be forgotten by the Cavaliers fan base.
