John Stamos is telling the heartbreaking details about his relationship with model and actress Teri Copley. Stamos alleges that he walked in on Copley cheating on him with actor Tony Danza.

In an excerpt from his forthcoming memoir “If You Would Have Told Me,” per USA Today, the actor says he pulled up to Copley's home after the actress gave him the “cold shoulder” upon returning from touring car show hosting and the cover band Papa Doo Run Run.

“I shuffle to the car with my stomach sinking and take a quick look inside. There’s a hairbrush, keys, boxing gloves and a half-unrolled poster of my girlfriend, naked, barely covered by a white sheet,” Stamos writes. “I’ve never seen this poster before.”

The Full House actor found himself at the back of her home near her guest house where he saw “four feet protruding from the shabby-chic, floral print duvet that once kept me warm.”

“My heart is beating out of my chest,” Stamos writes. “My mind is racing, and the room is spinning. I feel like throwing up all over her white shag carpet. It's my worst nightmare.”

At the time, he couldn't identigy who the man was and referred to him as  “Mr. Porsche Speedster” due to the convertible that was conviently parked in the actresses' driveway.

Before leaving her house he took a closer look at the poster that was in the convertible that had the note, “My Dear Tony, I’ll love you forever.”

When he was driving back home, he began singing Elton John's “Tiny Dancer,” when the lyrics clicked and found out who the secret man was.

“I mouth the words to his most famous lyrics and realize the name of my rival, ‘Hold me closer, Tony Danza,’ ” he writes.

However, Copley's rememberance of the incident is different as she claims the two were no longer together by the time she hooked up with Danze.

“I wondered, ‘What was John doing there?' because we had broken up,” she told PEOPLE. “He just looked at me and shook his head, and walked away.”
