The New York Giants have gotten off to a rocky start as they have not won a game yet this season. The team, led by Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, lost to the Dallas Cowboys 40-37 last week. They also fell short against the Washington Commanders 6-21 for their first game of the season. Giants fans are curious if Wilson's wife, Ciara, will be at MetLife Stadium to support the team.

It's unclear if Ciara has yet to appear at a Giants game this season, but the couple did enjoy a date night following the Giants' loss to the Cowboys in New York.

Russell signed a one-year contract worth up to $21 million with the Giants in March 2025. Back in June, Russell told CBS Sports that it was a “great” opportunity to play for the Giants.

“The opportunity here is so great,” Russell said. “I don't mind the lights. I don't mind that part of it. I think the other part of it for me, most importantly of it all that, is I've been here before. When you walk into a stadium, and my locker is the same locker I had when I won the Super Bowl. So, for me, when I see that, when I walk into the stadium I'm like, I've been here before. Not just been here but, like, we did this before.

“So, I fundamentally believe it's possible again in terms of being successful again and being at the highest level. I think we got the right guys. … There's a lot of good pieces to it. And it's a show.”

Ciara and Russell Wilson's relationship

Ciara and Wilson have been married for nine years and have three children together: Sienna Princess, Win Harrison, and Amora Princess. The Grammy-winning singer has an eldest son, Future Zahir, with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.  Ciara and Russell amended Future's last name to include Wilburn-Wilson a few years ago, but recently it sparked media attention earlier this month after some fans believed that Future Jr.'s last name was replaced by Wilson.

Over the years, Russell has posted him on social media having fun with one another and teaching him football. Russell and Ciara began dating in 2015 after she ended her engagement with the rapper the previous year.

Russell has treated Future Jr. just as his own son and he knew early on when he met him that he would.

“When I walked in the room and I saw, you know, little Future—he's nine months at the time or whatever—he crawls in my lap and it was like, you know, this is going to be my responsibility,” he said on the I Am Athlete podcast.
