Charles Barkley is no stranger to making bold statements, and this time, he made it clear that the Boston Celtics would finally win it all this year.

In another humor-filled NBA on TNT segment, Barkley minced no words, getting straight to the point: “The Boston Celtics are gonna win the championship, guaranteed!”

It's easy to understand why the Hall of Famer is assured of his prediction. Sitting atop the Eastern Conference, the Celtics currently hold an impressive 15-5 record. Despite losing defensive stalwart Marcus Smart, the additions of Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis have been a blessing for the green and white, with both players seamlessly adapting to Joe Mazzulla's system.

Holiday, known for his two-way impact, has been averaging notable all around numbers and is one of the biggest reasons why the Celtics hold the second best team defensive rating so far. Porzingis, who is currently sidelined due to injury,  has provided Boston another scoring option to it's already talent-filled roster.

“He does not have to be dominant. He just has to be the best number 4 in the NBA,” Charles Barkley noted on Porzingis.

The Celtics are hungrier than ever, especially after multiple playoff heartbreaks in the previous years. With Sir Charles forecasting a chip, this will only rile up the Boston faithful, who have waited more than a decade for Banner 18 to rise among the rafters.

It will be no easy task though. The road to the top will be long and difficult, as it has always been. However, those who bleed green continue to believe, because they sense something special in this year's team.
