The Boston Celtics have to be fired up after Gordon Hayward's breakout game. In fact, they couldn't hide their excitement after dousing their teammate with some Gatorade as he was having his post-game interview, per NBC Sports Boston.

Understandably so, Hayward's teammates have to be excited for him now that he's finally getting his groove back. But come on guys, do you really have to ruin his clean-cut waves like that?

Nevertheless, no one was more ecstatic than Hayward himself, saying that he felt great out there. More importantly, he's loving that the team is finally coming together.

Hayward is coming off a horrific injury that sidelined him for all but the first five minutes of last season. The 6-foot-8 forward has struggled mightily out of the gates as he tries to return to his All-Star form. The Celtics were worried that Hayward may never get back into the player he once was. However, Hayward's performance tonight has to give them a sigh of relief.

Boston finally got a glimpse of the player that team president Danny Ainge signed a four-year $128-million max contract to. Hayward dropped a season high 30 points to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists to lead Boston to a 118-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. He also made four of his five takes from downtown, and went a perfect 10-of-10 from the stripe.

The Celtics have rattled off three straight quality victories after struggling to find their groove early on the season. It remains to be seen if they can be more consistent now that head coach Brad Stevens may have found a formula that works for his squad. Boston will get a four-day lay off as they look to continue their winning ways on Thursday against the New York Knicks.
