With the 2-0 series lead, Boston put Brooklyn in a serious hole that would be hard for any team to climb out of. It's going to be even more difficult because of who it is against.

The Boston Celtics are 40-1 throughout their illustrious playoff history in series' when they lead 2-0. The only team to ever erase that deficit against the Celtics was the Cleveland Cavaliers with LeBron James.

In the first half, Nets' Bruce Brown and Seth Curry hit big shot after big shot. It wasn't Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving. In fact, the superstars from both teams struggled almost all game.

Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown at one point were 7-for-23 shooting from the field. Durant and Irving at that same point were 7-for-20.  But Boston's bench took excelled as the game continued. Grant Williams kept the Celtics in the game to close out the first quarter all by himself. In the fourth quarter, Payton Pritchard hit numerous big shots.

Eventually Brown got going, taking over late in the game. Meanwhile, Durant and Irving never got on track. They finished a combined 8-for-30 shooting. They are going to need to be much, much better if they want any chance of winning this series.
