Grant Williams transformed into Stephen Curry in game 7 on Sunday to help the Boston Celtics torch the Milwaukee Bucks. Naturally, Jaylen Brown and his teammates had to come up with a new nickname for him.

Fortunately, it wasn't hard for them to think of one. Speaking to reporters in his postgame presser, Brown revealed that he is going to call Williams “Grant Curry” from now on.

Well, that seems a fitting name, right? Stephen Curry is unarguably the greatest shooter of all time, and after Grant Williams matched a record that only Curry and Marcus Morris have done before, it's only appropriate for him to be in mentioned alongside the Golden State Warriors superstar.

Williams' seven triples against the Bucks are the most in NBA playoffs history. Curry has done it before twice, while Morris did it once. The Celtics forward finished with a game-high 27 points, outscoring Giannis Antetokounmpo who had 25. He also had two blocks and made a huge difference on the defensive end.

Boston will be facing the Miami Heat next in the Eastern Conference Finals, and as Jaylen Brown said, they better be ready for Grant Curry. If they allow him to shoot from distance, they'll likely suffer the same fate as the reigning champions.
