The Boston Celtics are going through a bit of a rough patch over the past couple of weeks.

The Celtics have lost three of the past five games. Those losses came at the hands of the Utah Jazz, the Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs.

Boston once held the best record in the NBA before this slide, and now that record belongs to the Houston Rockets.

But Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving is imploring his team and the fans that this stretch is nothing to be worried about, per Chris Forsberg of ESPN.

If there are any positives to take from the Celtics losing three of their last five, it's that two of those losses came against solid teams in the Spurs and Jazz. The one fly in the pudding during that stretch is Boston's loss to the lowly Bulls.

But it's not the time to panic. The Celtics are good. Like, really good. There's no need to get overly concerned about three losses in five games.

If that trend continues for whatever reason, however, that's a different story. The Celtics have already exceeded expectations with how well they've played without Gordon Hayward, and they hope to still make serious noise in the playoffs without him.

But if Boston is starting to plateau this early in the season, that's a cause for concern.
