Chelsea‘s rising star, Cole Palmer, has publicly apologized to manager Mauricio Pochettino after a bottle-throwing incident during Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, reported by GOAL. The young midfielder, who had scored the opening goal from the penalty spot, accidentally struck Pochettino with a bottle while tossing it away in frustration after Arsenal's dramatic equalizer by Leandro Trossard.

Palmer immediately expressed his regret to his manager and light-heartedly joked about the possibility of being dropped from the team. “When they scored their second goal, I was getting a drink,” Palmer explained. “I went to throw the bottle away, as you do, but didn’t look. I just saw it loop dead slow and hit the gaffer. I said sorry to him and apologized properly after the game. Hopefully, he won’t drop me for that!”

Despite the incident, Palmer praised his positive relationship with Pochettino, emphasizing his dedication to showing his skills in training and repaying the faith the manager has in him. Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City for £42.5 million ($52 million) in the summer, Palmer has made an immediate impact, contributing two goals and three assists in his first six Premier League appearances for the Blues.

Speaking about his experience at Chelsea, Cole Palmer expressed his happiness and enthusiasm: “I’m loving it here at Chelsea. Every day is good, even off the pitch with the lads. There’s a good vibe here, and everything’s good, so I’m loving it. I came to Chelsea to try to make an impact. I’m happy I’ve done it straight away. Credit to the lads, they’ve all been good, helped me settle in and stuff, but I’ve just got to try to improve every day and give more and more.”

As Chelsea prepares for their upcoming home fixture against Brentford on October 28, Palmer aims to continue his strong performances and contribute significantly to the team's success under Pochettino's guidance.
