Amid the promising start from Victor Osimhen over the ongoing Serie A season, Napoli has now made one notable decision on the forward.

As noted by the Italian-based outlet Il Mattino, Napoli has upped its transfer valuation of the Nigerian forward to €100 million. This comes a year after Napoli elected to shell out €70 million to sign him from Ligue 1 side Lille OSC.

Napoli's high valuation of Osimhen is noteworthy, as the report lists the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid as clubs that are interested in signing him to a permanent transfer deal.

Chelsea may soon face a notable dilemma with its attacking depth. The reigning UEFA Champions League winners did go all out to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan over the recent summer transfer window, but the side has been rumored to be interested in offloading German forward Timo Werner.

More so, Chelsea was among the clubs intrigued with signing Osimhen during his time at Lille, but the Premier League powerhouse was never reported to be in serious transfer talks with the Ligue 1 side for him.

On the other hand, Real Madrid may also face a notable overhaul with its attacking depth next year, especially as Gareth Bale is currently in the final season of his contract deal with the club.

More so, as Real Madrid was linked with Paris Saint-Germain star forward Kylian Mbappe in the summer, it is not known whether the La Liga side views Osimhen as a possible Plan B if it fails to haul in the Ligue 1 talent on a free transfer deal next year or if it wants to build its attack around these two.

Osimhen is off to a standout start in Serie A this season with five goals scored. Napoli currently sits at the table of the league table with 24 points through eight games played.
