Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire revealed that not being able to be on the field with his teammates was the one thing he hated the most about the 2022 season. The Chiefs halfback notes that difficult things he had to go through, such as the gallbladder surgery he had to endure last offseason, which cut into his preparation time in the offseason.

Edwards-Helaire has taken a lot of criticism since coming into the league for seemingly not living up to the hype that made him a first-round pick ahead of the 2020 season. However, it's easy to see how he could struggle to put up the numbers expected of him given the injuries and setbacks he dealt with.

Edwards-Helaire's final statement will make Chiefs fans excited. He said he “just wants to win and be the best at what he does.” Fully healthy entering the offseason, Edwards-Helaire is in position to do just that next year.
