Lamar Jackson is one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the NFL today, but even he knows that the Kansas City Chiefs have one troublesome quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. He openly — albeit jokingly — admitted to the public that he didn't really look forward to facing Mahomes whenever the two meet on the football field.

The Baltimore Ravens signal-caller made the observation during the KC/101 Awards. He made the audience laugh with his observations, as shown by Blair Kerkhoff's video. If there's one sure thing about Jackson's bit, it's the fact that Mahomes is one tough opponent to crack.

It's easy to understand why Jackson thinks so highly of the Chiefs star. He is an impeccable passer who can make opposing defenses look foolish. He can throw from virtually any position and without any solid footwork. His cannon of an arm makes him a dangerous threat on every down. He showed in Super Bowl LIV that he has the mental fortitude to come back from deficits and emerge victoriously.

However, Jackson himself isn't a pushover. The MVP of the 2019 season is a dynamic threat inside and outside the pocket. He can throw deep bombs as well as run for 30 yards. He's the modern quarterback that is the antithesis of Mahome's style of play.

These two were supposed to duke it out for the title of AFC's best last season, but Jacksons' Ravens were stumped by the Tennessee Titans during the divisional rounds. The Chiefs obviously won the Super Bowl. These two teams will surely try to make it back to the Super Bowl next year, and these two QBs will surely give everyone a show to remember.
