The Kansas City Chiefs made some noise on Sunday night after putting on an amazing display of football. They defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 42-21 and put their name back in contention for the Super Bowl. As usual, Patrick Mahomes went ballistic and apparently made history with his performance.

According to Field Yates, Mahomes threw for 404 passing yards and five touchdowns, making him the first player in NFL history to accomplish this stat line in four playoff games. If Patrick Mahomes keeps this up, the Chiefs will be in good hands throughout the playoffs.

It's crazy how good Patrick Mahomes is and he's just getting starting. Not only is he breaking playoff records, but he's doing so in a limited amount of games. The Chiefs' quarterback is well on his way to breaking many more records throughout his career.

The Chiefs have been one of the best teams in the league for quite some time now and they won't go anywhere as long as Patrick Mahomes is under center. It was a rocky start to the regular season, but Kansas City is in a groove after dominating the Steelers during WildCard Weekend.

We'll see if Mahomes can have another big performance, as the Chiefs will need it against the Buffalo Bills. Luckily they'll be the home team, but Mahomes and company must be on point against Buffalo.

We'll see how the rest of the postseason plays out, but the Chiefs aim to earn a second Super Bowl win in just three years. Patrick Mahomes will have his hands full, but as long as he continues this high level of play, Kansas City should be just fine.
