Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes, Damien Williams and Tyreek Hill all scored rushing touchdowns during their Divisional Round playoff win over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night, marking the first time that a quarterback, running back and a wide receiver on the same team all posted in rushing touchdowns in the same playoff game.

Williams got the scoring started for the Chiefs, punching in a 10-yard touchdown to give Kansas City a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Then, Hill took an end around 36 yards for the score on the Chiefs' next possession, putting them up 14-0.

Finally, before the second half ended, Mahomes ran in a four-yard touchdown to give Kansas City a 24-7 advantage over the Colts.

With the win, Kansas City moved on to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since the 1993-94 campaign, when Marty Schottenheimer was at the helm of the Chiefs. Kansas City ended up losing to the Buffalo Bills.

Since then, the Chiefs have made the playoffs 11 times, losing in the Divisional Round and the Wild Card Round five times apiece before finally breaking out of their near three-decade-long slump.

In addition, Kansas City defeated Indianapolis in the playoffs for the first time, as the Chiefs entered their matchup with the Colts on Saturday evening having gone 0-4 against the franchise in postseason contests.

On the year, the Chiefs won 12 games and captured the AFC West division title while also locking down the No. 1 seed in the conference. They will take on the winner of the Los Angeles Chargers-New England Patriots matchup next week.
