The wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Matthews, didn't hold back when responding to an Instagram troll who made a rather rude and inappropriate comment on her Instagram.

Matthews recently posted a photo of her with Patrick and their daughter Sterling announcing that they are expecting another baby. Sterling can be seen holding a board with “BIG SISTER DUTIES COMING SOON” written on it, while the husband and wife were all smiles.

Ruining the beautiful moment was this Instagram troll, who wrote “if I was stuck w this woman for life I'd kill myself.” Of course Brittany didn't like it at all and took offense, posting a screenshot of the comment on her IG stories and calling out the person for the ugly and poor remarks.

“Making comments like this are very very concerning but also highly inappropriate,” the wife of the Chiefs star wrote, per TMZ. “‘Killing yourself' is not a term to just be throwing around like this.”

“It's actually a very serious matter. People deal with these thoughts often. And it can be VERY TRIGGERING to some people.”

While Patrick Mahomes' partner is used to the criticisms, there is definitely a certain line that shouldn't be crossed. That fan certainly went over it and laid waste with those ugly comments.

It remains to be seen if the Chiefs QB will react to it, but Brittany Matthews surely handled it really well. She also went on to urge her followers to be careful of what they say, especially on social media.

“Please be aware when you say stuff like this and know it can affect a lot of people if they even read or see these words. Let's be better,” Matthews said.
