The Kansas City Chiefs made quite the transition under center this offseason with the emergence of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It seems wide receiver Tyreek Hill has already started to notice the difference.

It goes without saying that Hill is widely considered the fastest player in the league. According to Aly Trost of ArrowheadPride.com, he says Mahomes is the first quarterback that has ever been able to hit him in stride:

“Pat (Mahomes) is the first guy that I have played with that has the arm strength,” Hill said. “That’s not taking anything away from other quarterbacks I have played with, but Pat is something special.”

Hill's comments may be seen as a bit of a jab toward former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith. However, there is certainly some truth to it since Smith has never been known for his arm strength. Meanwhile, Mahomes has received heavy praise for his cannon coming out of college.

That said, it is clear that Hill is excited about the new possibilities in their offense. The speedster enjoyed quite the breakout year last season. He finished the 2017 campaign with 75 receptions for 1,183 yards and seven touchdowns en route to his first Pro Bowl selection as a wideout.

Kansas City's offense has the potential to be one of the more explosive units in the league. They managed to add some more firepower to their offense with the signing of wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Hill and Watkins could become an elite receiving duo with Mahomes at the helm moving forward.
