NBA and NFL stars will be matching up against each other in a golf tournament in the Bahamas in a showdown for the ages. The two teams both boast world-class athletes, and the competitive juices will be running high. Here's a look at the 16 players that will be going head-to-head.

Both sides boast guys who are known to be pretty decent golfers. Dell Curry and Ray Allen are regular participants in golfing events. Aaron Rodgers has appeared at both the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the American Century Championship Celebrity Tournament.

This will be the second year that the event has taken place. Last time, the NFL side came away with a narrow victory. Rodgers claimed he was ready to defend his title.

“The NFL side squeaked one out last year; I look forward to defending our title bragging rights on the links,” he said in March, per Bleacher Report. “I love golf and The Bahamas is a stunning setting for this unique event. It will be a special one for fans too, getting up-close-and-personal with some amazing pro athletes.”

New Oklahoma City Thunder guard was also locked in on the matchup.

“I’m thrilled to be hosting this great tournament once again, matching some of the best that ever played in the NBA against NFL greats in a friendly golf competition,” he said. “While we are all highly competitive at heart, this is all about having fun and giving fans an amazing experience.”

While Chris Paul might claim it's all in good fun, you can bet the house that the ultra-competitive will be doing everything he can to win.
