NBA 2K17 is definitely a hot trending topic currently. With the release date closing up, the heat rises and so are the discussions around it. A Twitter frenzy began few days ago with players asking and receiving their ratings. Most went ahead and let their fans know of it and others would keep it to themselves. And as always, things started with a good atmosphere but it wasn't long until things took a wrong turn.

Some complaints did arise, most notably from Evan Fournier asking for a change of appearance. But based on C.J. McCollum's tweet and Ronnie2K's response, a lot complaints have been made mainly concerning in game ratings. Although no such complaints have surfaced yet, it is expected for some to feel underrated.

C.J. McCollum, though, went pretty hard on such reactions. And we can't blame him. Even if indeed a player is underrated in the video game, that would be another motivational tool for improvement. A game remains a game though. What really matters is on-court performance. If the job is done on that end, results and improvement will show even in an NBA game. C.J. set some priorities right there.
