The L.A. Clippers are doing their best to hold their heads above water and they will need every warm body that they could use along the way. Unfortunately, Danilo Gallinari has been — and will be — missing more games for the transitioning team.

ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly reported on a team announcement regarding Gallinari's health, and a few other Clippers players.

L.A. is currently at the ninth place in the Western Conference standings. The race in that part of the NBA geography is a wild one. The Clippers only have one more loss than the third-placed Minnesota Timberwolves, but the latter holds much more wins. A hot streak could catapult them into a more comfortable position, but that would require a yeoman's effort from their players.

Gallinari was supposed to play a big role upon arriving in Tinseltown in the offseason. Unfortunately, injuries have prevented the veteran shooter to catch any sort of rhythm. He has only played in 19 of the Clippers' 60 games so far this year, averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Lou Williams has been splendid all season long, while Tobias Harris has proven to be a huge addition thanks to his offensive punch. The Clippers wanted to adapt to the modern NBA, thus trading erstwhile franchise star Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons, and they indeed have players with a multitude of skills in return.

The only thing that's preventing them right now from breaking out is having a consistently-depleted roster. That's not, by any means, the type of consistency that their fans want to see fro, the Clippers.
