It has been a difficult first year in the NBA with the L.A. Clippers point guard Milos Teodosic dealing with a nagging foot injury.

However, he put together one of his best individual performances in Tuesday's win over the Sacramento Kings dishing out a career-high 10 assists. It was an outing that All-Star big man DeAndre Jordan believed had been a long time coming, according to Tomer Azarly.

Teodosic was able to string together a productive overall performance in limited action also scoring eight points and four rebounds in 21 minutes of action against the Kings. In the nine games that he has been able to play, the 30-year-old has brought much stability and playmaking to the point guard position for the Clippers.

It is an encouraging sign for L.A. to see Teodosic playing effectively finally looking healthy from the foot injury that kept him sidelined for 22 straight games. He is currently averaging 8.3 points with 5.1 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per contest.

The more games that he's able to get under his belt away from the injury, the greater impact he can have with the team in a more expanded role. Teodosic will get his first chance to build on his performance on Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
