PLAYA VISTA – The NBA trade deadline is less than a month away, and teams are really starting to figure out where they're lacking. Doc Rivers' team, the LA Clippers, have been one team linked to a few players in trade talks. Among then, Aron Baynes, Darren Collison, and Marcus Morris are reportedly the ones they're most interested in. Do the Clippers need any of those players, however?

The Clippers practiced for the first time in a few weeks, and are in the midst of their first stretch of four days off for the first time since training camp. It marked just the third time practicing with a 100 percent healthy roster. The first came prior to the Clippers' Christmas Day matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. The second practice game just after that game.

Following practice, head coach Doc Rivers spoke with members of the media about the break in the schedule. One of the topics discussed was the roster, and whether enough has been seen from this Clippers group to know what they'll look like.

“I think we know,” said Rivers of the Clippers roster. “I think we kind of know. There are probably things we don't know because we haven't a normal everybody play every night because we've had so many injuries, but I think for the most part we have a pretty good idea of who we are.”

The NBA's trade deadline is on February 6, 2020. This deadline could feature a lot of movement among players on short-term contracts. The Clippers could very well choose to stand pat and not make a move. Through 38 games, LA has a 26-12 record, constantly flipping between the second, third, and fourth seeds.

The Clippers host the Golden State Warriors on Friday night at 7:30PM PST.
