Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is evidently keeping busy while he rehabs from knee surgery. The two-time NBA champion is trying to unite hip hop and basketball by releasing Culture Jam Vol. 1: Part 1 in collaboration with Virgin Music.

The album features seven songs, with “Everything different” by NBA Youngboy and Rod Wave being released in May as one of the first singles. Part of the proceeds from that hit went to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation in honor of Kobe and Gianna Bryant.

Other big names who will feature on Kawhi Leonard's record include Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie, Lil Uzi Vert, and Wale. The other big song on the tracklist is “Waves” by Rod Wave and Polo G, which was released this past summer.

In celebration of the album, Kawhi Leonard will be hosting The Culture Jam Sports And Music Festival next month in Los Angeles. The Clippers forward helped produce the album and it will be officially released on Friday across all platforms.

As for Leonard's timeline on returning to the court, there's a chance he could be back with the Clippers at some point this season, depending on how recovery goes. Nevertheless, it's good to see him doing things off the court as well.
