With the Los Angeles Clippers facing Atlanta Hawks at home on Saturday, All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard and guard Patrick Beverley are questionable for the matchup, per ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly.

The Clippers are labeling Leonard as dealing with a left knee injury while Beverley has a sore left calf. Meanwhile, second-year shooting guard Landry Shamet as out.

The big storyline for Los Angeles, however, is the debut of Paul George, who appeared for the first time during the 2019-20 season for the Clippers on Thursday night in the road loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. George, who was traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the offseason to team up with Leonard, scored 33 points in his Clippers debut, chipping in nine rebounds, four assists on 58.8% shooting from the field while coughing up the ball five times and committing five fouls, too.

George started in Leonard's absence as the Clippers continue to struggle in the past week. After a solid start to the season for the revamped Doc Rivers squad, L.A. has dropped three of the last five games and are 1-4 on the road and 0-3 without the two-time Finals MVP. Hopefully the insertion of George, a six-time All-Star and former Most Improved Player, will stabilize the lineup in the absence of Leonard, providing that boost of star power.

The Hawks, meanwhile, are headlined by budding star point guard Trae Young, of whom the Clippers need the pesky Beverley to defend, but that's up in the air at the moment. Young is averaging 27.3 points and 9.1 assists per game for Atlanta.
