The LA Clippers have no interest in waiving point guard Milos Teodosic, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

Milos Teodosic is reportedly unhappy with his role and playing time with the Clippers. The guard is making $6.3 million this season.

The Clippers do not have any interest in waiving Teodosic, sources said. They view Teodosic as a valuable player and point guard insurance in case one of the two players ahead of him on the depth chart — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Patrick Beverley — suffers an injury. Their stance could potentially change if Teodosic is willing to take a buyout or if they find a trade partner for him by the deadline. But the team has not aggressively pursued that path yet.

Teodosic has appeared in just 15 games this season for the Clippers. The 31-year-old is averaging 3.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest and shooting 42.5 percent from the field, 37.0 percent from beyond the arc and 57.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Teodosic is playing roughly 10.0 minutes per game. He averaged 25.2 last season.

If Teodosic had it his way, he would be off the Clippers so he could go back overseas and play. The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7. Teodosic has career averages of 8.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
