It goes without saying that the Los Angeles Clippers overcame the most massive of odds in their improbable 135-131 come-from-behind victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 2.

In fact, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints, the odds of the Clippers winning the game when they were down by 31 points in the third quarter were at 0.01%, according to ESPN:

Just imagine the setting and the situation: Facing a 31-point deficit midway through the third quarter, against the back-to-back defending champions with their four All-Stars, with their home fans at Oracle Arena going bonkers.

The Clippers had nearly every impossible circumstance presented to them at that point in time. But they did not crater. As they have shown all season long, this gritty group fought back and fought hard.

After going down 94-63 with 7:31 remaining in the third quarter, the Clippers outscored the defending champions 72-37 from that point on.

Los Angeles cut the lead down to 14 entering the final quarter and outscored Golden State 41-23 in the fourth quarter. The comeback from 31 points down marked the largest playoff comeback in NBA history.

Lou Williams led the charge with an impressive 36-point performance. The reigning Sixth Man of the Year showed exactly why he is the premier professional scorer. The Warriors could not find a way to stop him as he masterfully picked apart their defense in a variety of ways.

Montrezl Harrell dominated the paint once again in Game 2, going a perfect 9-for-9 from the field en route to 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Rookie Landry Shamet, however, was responsible for completing the Clippers' comeback, as he nailed the massive go-ahead 3-pointer with 16.5 seconds remaining.
