The Los Angeles Clippers have recalled guard Jerome Robinson. He was the 13th pick in this past years draft in June.

He has played in seven games for the Clippers this season, but is only averaging five minutes per game. This probably was not the season Robinson was expecting so far. But, he does have some positives he can look at. His career high came versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. He had six points, shot 2-for-3 from three and played seven minutes.

Jerome Robinson played in the first game of the Agua Caliente Clippers. He had a stellar game against the Santa Cruz Warriors in a loss. Finished with 19 points, one rebound and assist and shot 7-for-19 from the field and 1-for-5 from three.

The G League gives players like Robinson playing time and opportunities. He may not have those same opportunities with the Clippers right now.

However, those could be coming later in the season. Most likely, Robinson will be spending time between the Clippers and their G League affiliate throughout the season. All players want playing time, and Robinson is getting just that in the G League.

Playing in the G League and getting starting minutes should give Robinson a lot of confidence in his game going forward. He gets to prove to head coach Doc Rivers and company he has lot of talent.

Jerome Robinson was a lottery pick for a reason and he will have the opportunity to prove why he was picked in the lottery.
