Veteran small forward Marcus Morris won't make his Los Angeles Clippers debut on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to Andrew Grief of the Los Angeles Times.

The Clippers acquired Morris from the New York Knicks at the trade deadline:

Morris averaged 19.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists with the Knicks this season while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 43.9 percent from beyond the arc and 82.3 percent from the free-throw line. He will add toughness, veteran leadership and scoring to the Clippers’ dynamic.

After acquiring Morris, the Clippers will start Patrick Beverley, Paul GeorgeKawhi Leonard, Morris and Ivica Zubac moving forward once everyone is available to play, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The Clippers are 36-15 on the season. They have the second-best record in the Western Conference. Only the Los Angeles Lakers have a better record than the Clippers, but LAC is 2-0 against the Purple and Gold this season.

Morris only makes the Clippers more dangerous on offense. LA fans are hoping he makes his debut on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
