Milos Teodosic, 31, is coming back for a second season with the L.A. Clippers after a successful rookie campaign. The Serbian-born point guard provided good minutes for the Clippers despite missing a decent portion of the season due to injury.

Teodosic picked up his player option for the 2018-19 season and he spoke with Redakcija of Basketball Sphere about his decision. Teodosic said:

“I had until June 24 to decide whether I will stay. In Europe, there were not many teams that could financially respond. I think my decision to stay in LA was correct. I have another year in my contract with the Clippers, so we’ll see what the future holds.”

The savvy point guard sounds confident in his decision to stay in the states. He wasn't overmatched in his first action in the NBA. Teodosic averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 25.2 minutes per game. He also started in 36 of the 45 games he played.

He's certainly no All-Star, but he's a nice role player on a team that was in contention for a playoff spot until the final few weeks of the season.

Teodosic becomes a restricted free agent at the conclusion of the season. It's unclear whether or not he plans to remain in the NBA or head back overseas. The Serbian spent his years overseas playing in Serbia, Greece, and Russia before signing with the Clippers during the 2017 offseason.

The savvy point guard will hope to stay healthy and have a successful season in Los Angeles before deciding what his future holds.
