The Los Angeles Clippers are wasting no time right now. Just days after signing former All-Star John Wall, LA has now made a couple of major moves right at the start of NBA free agency. This comes in the form of new deals for Nicolas Batum and Amir Coffey.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports broke the news about Batum putting pen to paper on a two-year extension with the Clippers worth $22 million:

Free agent forward Nicolas Batum has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year, $22 million deal, league sources tell @YahooSports.

Batum has proven to be a key player for the Clippers, particularly last season, with the team dealing with injuries to their two superstars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Batum started 54 games for LA, averaging 8.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 steals, while also connecting on 1.8 triples per game at an efficient 40.0-percent clip.

In a separate report, ESPN's NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed that Coffey is also running it back with the Clippers on a three-year deal worth $11 million:

Amir Coffey has agreed to a three-year, $11M deal with the Clippers, his agents Bill Duffy and Marlon Harrison of @BDA_Sports and WME Sports tell ESPN.

For his part, Coffey is no star, but it is clear that he figures in coach Tyronn Lue's plans for the future.
