Los Angeles Clippers star small forward Paul George struggled in Game 2 against the Dallas Mavericks, and his haters let him know about it.

George, who named himself “Playoff P” a few years ago, shot only 4-of-17 from the field and 2-of-10 from beyond the arc in Game 2 versus the Mavs. NBA Twitter trolled the Clippers wing so hard that “Pandemic P” was trending on Twitter at one point.

George, who was icing his surgically repaired shoulders after the Game 2 loss during his media session, took to Instagram on Thursday to relay a message to his doubters.

In Game 2, Paul George missed his first five shots before finally hitting a 3-pointer in the second half. He only had 14 points in 31:35.

The Clippers need their second-best player after Kawhi Leonard to play much better moving forward if they want to avoid the upset against Luka Doncic and the Mavs.

George averaged 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Clippers during the 2019-20 regular season. The six-time All-Star, who underwent surgery on both of his shoulders last offseason, shot 43.9 percent from the floor, 41.2 percent from the 3-point line and 87.6 percent from the charity stripe.

For his career, George shoots 42.1 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from 3 in the playoffs. Ideally, the Clippers are going to need PG-13 to become a more efficient scorer moving forward.
