Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers were unable to live up to expectations during the 2019-2020 NBA season, but he’s prepared to silence his doubters next season. With his NBA 2K21 rating being released on Thursday, George promises to drastically improve in the upcoming campaign.
"This is going to be an amazing training going into this next season. I’m going to predict I’m around a 95 [by the end of the year]. 95 tour is coming."

The current-gen version of NBA 2K21 has been out for some time now, so players are aware of what their ratings could be. But with the next-gen consoles set to come out in November, 2K is unveiling player’s ratings for the next-gen version of the video game.
While LeBron James was revealed as the highest-rated player at 98 overall, Paul George was given an 88 overall rating in NBA 2K21. After seeing his rating for the upcoming game, George is confident he’ll be a much higher overall by the next installment of the franchise.
This past season, George was traded to the Clippers to form a contending team alongside Kawhi Leonard. The duo performed well in the regular season, with George averaging 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.
However, the Clippers brought Paul George in to deliver in the playoffs and he was unable to do that in a consistent manner. The six-time All-Star would average 20.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in the postseason as Los Angeles would blow a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Semi-Finals to the Denver Nuggets.
Also, he would go from shooting 43 percent from the field in the regular season to a mere 39 percent in the postseason. Given that, 2K seems to have docked his attributes after his underwhelming showing in the playoffs.
Nevertheless, George promises to use his past season’s transgressions as motivation for the 2020-2021 season.
