The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers face off on Christmas Day and Clippers star small forward Paul George is excited.

George didn't play against the Lakers on opening night because he was still recovering from his two offseason shoulder injuries. The six-time All-Star says the atmosphere at Staples Center on Christmas is going to be “crazy.”

“It's gonna be crazy,” George told Rachel Nichols of ESPN. “Playing on Christmas is one of the biggest things, but then the matchup…two top-10 players on each side, both teams with loaded benches, it's gonna be a fun one. Looking forward to it.”

The Lakers are 24-6 on the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference, but are currently on a three-game losing streak.

The Clippers, meanwhile, are 22-10. They sit in the fourth spot in the West. George is averaging 24.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 21 games this season. He's shooting 44.5 percent from the field, 40.1 percent from beyond the arc and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George versus LeBron James and Anthony Davis. It doesn't get much better than that. Basketball fans are hoping the Clippers and Lakers end up meeting in the Western Conference Finals, too.
