Former Los Angeles Lakers great Robert Horry had a controversial take on the Los Angeles Clippers while on The Sedano Show Wednesday.

‘Big Shot Rob' revealed that he is not overly impressed with the Clippers' revamped roster, and he doesn't think that they will be as good as most people expect.

To be honest, this isn't exactly a shock coming from a former Laker. Horry won three championships with the Purple and Gold from 2000 to 2002 and was part of the most recent three-peat in NBA history.

The Clippers made the playoffs as the eighth seed in 2018-19 and took the Golden State Warriors to six games. They then built from their success last year and made waves this offseason, adding Kawhi Leonard and Paul George while keeping their 2018-19 core intact.

With their recent performance and acquisitions, it's not surprising to see fans and analysts be high on them. After all, it seems like the only way is up for the Clippers.

Regardless, no one knows how good the Clippers will be until we actually see them in action. But it's tough to doubt a team with two top-five players on its roster, even if one is rehabbing a shoulder injury to start the season.

We're going to have to wait it out to see if Horry's thoughts are correct. Lakers fans, however, will be hoping the legend nailed his predictions on the head.
